## Key Plant Operator Responsibilities
As an integral member of the technical team, the selected candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining seamless, safe, and efficient facility operations. Daily duties include:
* Executing safe LPG refinery operations strictly in line with established safety protocols to consistently achieve production targets.
* Managing facility start-up procedures in strict accordance with designated Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
* Handling both normal and emergency facility shutdown sequences efficiently.
* Conducting rigorous field monitoring of operating parameters and mechanical equipment, maintaining accurate log sheets, initiating maintenance work orders, and preparing machinery for servicing.
* Performing relevant operational instructions delegated by supervisors and management.
* Upholding and championing Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ/K3L) policies while proactively reporting workplace hazards.
## Candidate Requirements and Qualifications
To thrive in this demanding technical environment, applicants must meet the following baseline criteria:
* Education: Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Chemical Engineering or Petroleum Engineering.
* Experience: At least 1 year of hands-on experience in a comparable role, ideally functioning as a DCS Control Room Operator.
* Industry Background: Prior professional experience within the oil and gas sector is strongly preferred.
* Technical Skills: Strong computer literacy, specifically with Microsoft Office applications, alongside professional English proficiency.
* Work Ethic: Demonstrated ability to operate independently, maintain strong target orientation, and display high personal integrity.
* Location: Preference is given to candidates currently domiciled in Palembang or surrounding areas of South Sumatra.
