The Refinery Development Master Plan (RDMP) Balikpapan project represents a pivotal milestone in Indonesia’s energy infrastructure. Recognized as a National Strategic Project (PSN), this massive undertaking focuses on increasing the processing capacity of the Pertamina Balikpapan Refinery. Spearheaded by the Joint Operation (JO) partnership—comprising Hyundai, Rekind, SK Engineering, and PP—this initiative is setting new benchmarks for industrial development and operational excellence.

## Open Positions at RDMP Balikpapan JO
1. Commissioning Electrical Engineer
* Responsibilities: Plan and coordinate installation workflows; ensure commissioning tasks follow the correct sequence; supervise activities while maintaining accurate records; resolve technical issues during installation and testing phases.
* Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; minimum 2 years of relevant experience; certified in K3 and EPC Power; proficiency in Oil and Gas project skills; adept at MS Office and AutoCAD; fluent in English.
2. Commissioning Engineer (Major Chemical)
* Responsibilities: Identify system deficiencies; prepare and manage all test and commissioning documentation; monitor project progress; record test results and oversee final equipment acceptance; compile site test dossiers.
* Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (Chemical Engineering preferred); 3+ years of experience in chemical plants or major projects; advanced MS Office skills; strong knowledge of PnID and isometric drawings; fluent in English.
3. Field Operator
* Responsibilities: Operate and maintain facility control room systems; execute process controls and troubleshooting; manage wellsite proppant storage systems; perform hands-on equipment operation and maintenance.
* Requirements: Bachelor’s degree; minimum 5 years of field experience; verifiable work history; fluent in English.
4. Electrical Operator
* Responsibilities: Commission and maintain electrical infrastructure; perform troubleshooting on electrical systems; operate SWRG/MCC and related power equipment.
* Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; minimum 2 years of relevant experience; K3 and EPC Power certifications; experience in Oil and Gas projects; proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD; fluent in English.
5. Paramedic
* Responsibilities: Perform Daily Check-ups (DCU) and provide medical consultations; manage on-site emergency responses; assist the site doctor with health management programs and hazard identification; maintain daily and periodic health reports.
* Requirements: Bachelor’s degree; minimum 2 years of experience; certifications required include AK3 Umum/Migas, HIPERKES, BTCLS, and a valid STR; fluent in English; Balikpapan residency preferred.
6. Office Clerk/Helper
* Responsibilities: Perform general cleaning and maintenance within the JO office and site areas; handle minor mechanical repairs for site bicycles.
* Requirements: Minimum SMA/SMK education; at least 1 year of experience in janitorial or cleaning services; disciplined with strong communication skills; bicycle mechanical experience is a significant advantage.
